Ringhofferova 711, 251 68 Kamenice
The fortress on the site of the chateau was built as early as the beginning of the 15th century, but it did not become a significant part of history until 1562, when King Maximilian spent the night here. In the aftermath of the devastating 30 Years' War, the fortress was transformed into a castle. Only three rooms on the ground floor remain from the original building. However, it was not until 1750 that it acquired much of its present appearance. The three-winged layout of the chateau was created then. In 1822, Prince Rohan, later Count Nostic-Rheinek, acquired the Štiřín estate with the chateau. Under him, further building interventions took place. František Ringhoffer from nearby Kamenice bought the castle in 1870 and his family owned it until the revolutionary year 1945.
